It should be called the Has Been Celebrity Apprentice. Gotta admit I stopped watching this show ever since Donald Trump went on his birther mission against President Obama. I think Donald Trump is the world’s first proverbial asshole but that only gives him more exposure than I choose to give this carnival barker.
But really The Celebrity Apprentice has its following despite The Donald and the fact that this go round as in last go round is filled with a bunch of has beens and losers. These people wouldn’t rattle a cage at the zoo if they landed on it after being dropped by and F16 fighter jet.
And NBC wonders why nobody watches their network,
But we will bring you a photo spread despite our feelings for the carnival barker who pretty much will help this current President get re-elected. So at least enjoy the photos.

Crosby is getting some competition for Jasmine‘s attention. And some serious comp. OK let’s do a bit of set-up. Crosby (Dax Shephard) hooked up with his baby’s mama Jasmine (Joy Bryant), moved in with her, bought her a house, did the “you are the father’ Maury type thing then bumped you know whats with Minka Kelly’s Gaby Moss, came clean (you never come clean) and Jasmine kicked Crosby to the curb.
That’s one heck of a fast forward.
Now enter DB Woodside, who I remember from FOX’s 24, another brother President that got messed up on that show. Somehow all of the black Presidents get messed up on 24. I didn’t see any of the white Presidents get shot or blown up on 24.

Now DB Woodside enters Parenthood on NBC, getting a five episode stint on the show as Dr. Joseph Prestidge, an Ivy League guy, probably from Penn, who is so different than the take it as it comes Crosby. He does his thing to get close to Jasmine and of course all you know what will break loose in the Braverman clan over the good Dr. Prestidge.
That’s all according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.
Executive Producer Jason Katims told THR “things maybe didn’t work out for them quite as well as it seemed” for Crosby and Jasmine as the end of last season had them “happy together” in the words and music of The Turtles back in 1967. Google it because if I have to go back to 1967 the scotch on the rocks is kicking in on a Sunday afternoon when the temperature hits close to 100 degrees in Los Angeles.
Uh oh! That top shelf scotch will provide a bit of creativity won’t it?
Parenthood is back on NBC September 13th.

There seems to be no end to the hacking scandal that’s about to destroy more careers throughout the Rupert Murdoch empire. It has just become simply never-ending as everyday the story just keeps getting bigger and continues to put the future of the company on life support.

Speaking with employees of FOX in many levels across the country, the hacking scandal has become such a thorn in the butts of employees of FOX that some of them are coming to work in New York pretty much in drag. Most of them are totally embarrassed about the conservative cable network FOX News Channel and their ignorance of the scandal. In other words how can they push this story to the side as if nothing happened.
Today the story gets even worse. Scotland Yard now says a second murdered girl’s parents were given a phone that was hacked by an expert in the procedure. Rebekah Brooks, the scumbag editor of the now defunct News of the World, gave the hacker a phone to give to the family and now that phone was hacked in to illegally.
I gotta tell you. That woman Brooks is going to find herself in prison over this mess. But wait there’s definitely more.
Now the Justice Department in the United States is speaking with 9/11 family members who had relatives perish in the disaster. Speaking to them about the investigation that will be taking place to determine if rights were violated here in the U.S. by foreign reporters who have been accused of hacking in to their phones.
This is going to upset a lot of people in America.
And this would mean the complete and total end to News Corp. as the Justice Department, under the guise of the current Democratic administration, would use any means necessary to rip apart Rupert Murdoch’s empire. Like a fat kid sitting in front of a chocolate cake, the Justice Department is ready to devour anything related to FOX News.
They will tear a new you know what in to that company and enjoy putting them out of business. If you owned a brand that advertises on FOX News or any News Corp. owned property, would you continue to spend money on a network that abused the families of probably the biggest domestic disaster in the country’s history?
Then there’s one of television’s most well known names that’s about to be buried under this scandal. That’s CNN and NBC’s Piers Morgan, who is just about headed to hell over this story. First mistake was going on CNN and debating a member of Parliament who pretty much said she would leave the rest up to the media here in America. That began a frenzy of media inquiries in to Piers Morgan on what he did or did not know about the hacking practice. No matter what the outcome, even if he is proven to be completely unaware of the practice, his rule over another newspaper owned by Murdoch is to close of a connection to save his career here in the United States.
In other words, Piers Morgan may be finished as a television personality if there’s any link between him and hacking. This is what we call a career-ender.
This whole story stinks to no end. Really stinks. But it is just beginning. Like sharks smelling blood, the politicians in the country will look to destroy Rupert Murdoch. Even Republicans won’t hide behind FOX News if there’s a connection to their parent company because this investigation will go right to their offices as well.
Just how deep is this scandal?

For 11 years and over 200 episodes, BD Wong, one of television’s most recognized Asian actors, has played Dr. George Huang on the NBC crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His time on that show, at least for now as the lead shrink, is over. Done. Finished. But his absence on NBC will be short lived as BD Wong will be moving to an new NBC project called Awake and will be once again playing a therapist.

OK so I read the synopsis of this new show and unfortunately I don’t get it. So I’m gonna copy and paste it to this story but I will tell you that Jason Issacs from the movies Harry Potter and Brotherhood will play a detective in the series and then it gets all sci-fi on me so it’s best explained by the NBC preview.

For some reason the networks this season are dealing with mind-bending dramas that just take a few views of the shows to understand and then head to the canceled bin. But here we go from NBC….
“Awake” is an intriguing drama about a detective (Jason Isaacs, “Harry Potter,” “Brotherhood”) who finds he is leading an arduous double life that defies reality. When Detective Michael Britten (Isaacs) regains consciousness following his family’s car accident, he is told that his wife Hannah (Laura Allen, “Terriers”) perished but that his teen son, Rex (Dylan Minnette, “Saving Grace”), has survived. As he tries to put the pieces of his life back together, he awakens again in a parallel reality in which his wife is very much alive — but his son Rex died in the accident. In order to keep both of his loved ones alive at one time, he begins living two dueling realities in parallel worlds, which churns up confusion — in one moment, Michael and his wife debate about having another child to replace their son, while in the other reality, he is attracted to his son’s tennis coach, Tara (Michaela McManus, “The Vampire Diaries”), to fill the void from the loss of his wife. Trying to regain some normalcy, Michael returns to police work and solves crimes in both worlds with the help of two different partners.
OK so is it me or is that explanation damn confusing? Watch the trailer. But there you have it and BD Wong on his next project. Watch the video. I did. I’m still confused.

Well this is a surprise and not a surprise for many especially those working at NBC Universal. Erin Burnett, the so called rising star over at CNBC and contributor to all NBC owned media properties, will be leaving the network according to a story in the New York Times.

Burnett has been with the network since 2005 and her brand has been on the rise ever since she took that position. She is a frequent contributor to the Today Show and the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. She really knows her business news. Now she wants to reach out beyond the business perspective and had been in conversation with ABC and CBS for a position at those networks.
CNN, which needs as much help as possible, is making the smart move of adding Burnett to their roster. She’s young, good looking and knowledgeable when it comes to business news and can easily branch out as a general news contributor or anchor on CNN.
NBC Universal is in the midst of a major shake up with on-air staffing. Meredith Vieira is leaving Today, legal analyst Dan Abrams has already shifted to ABC, rumors abound about Matt Lauer and now Erin Burnett.
As we’ve noted before in this blog, NBC Universal’s merger with Comcast has put talent contracts on hold in many areas of their broadcast group as the dust settles with new management being named almost weekly. Top level executives have been told to spend little or no money on talent or marketing the company’s broadcast properties until new management is in place.
