TV Land is all grown up. And the ratings from the premiere of the show were incredible as close 5,000,000 people tuned in. The network mostly known for old school shows that Rick Dees might promote jumps in to original scripted television with ’Hot in Cleveland.’ And with a pretty solid lineup of regulars along with another group of well known guest stars during the show’s first season.
Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the newly famous Betty White will be the regulars on the show. They are best friends who get together and plan a trip to Paris. The plane makes an unexpected stop in Cleveland where the three find they are ’hot in Cleveland’ and decide to stay in that city.
They rent a house and meet up with Betty White’s character and the rest in history. Lots of guests coming including Huey Lewis, Hal Linden, Susan Lucci and Carl Reiner.
