TV’s New Scandal Man, NFL’s Brett Favre, Now Sister Busted
Yeah we even had to do stories on Brett Favre and although we write a lot of stories about sports, there’s usually a spectacular dunk or a trick play in high school sports that we’re showing you from YouTube.
Then comes Brett Favre. Yes, the Pro Bowl quarterback, headed to the Football Hall of Fame, has been the focus of an investigation by the National Football League for sending sexually explicit e-mails to a sideline TV reporter for the New York Jets. He is also being sued by two female massage therapists who say he did the same thing to them.
Now his younger sister is in trouble. 34 year old Brandi Favre was arrested in Diamondhead, Mississippi during a raid at a condo there where 9 grams of methamphetamine was recovered by cops. She’s charged with manufacturing the substance and faces 30 years in prison.
Crime don’t pay in Mississippi, ya think?
“She’s always in trouble,” one official told the Associated Press.
Now that Favre is retired from the Minnesota Vikings, he has a troubled sister to deal with, faces three potential harassment suits and his former team the Green Bay Packers are one game away from the SuperBowl.
