‘Today Show’ Legal Analyst Dan Abrams Headed to ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’

Dan Abrams, legal analyst for the ‘Today Show’ and Chief Legal Analyst for NBC News, is reportedly headed to assume the same duties at rival morning program ‘Good Morning America.’  This would be a major addition to ‘GMA” as the ABC morning program continues to chip away at the ‘Today Show’s audience.

Dan Abrams‘Good Morning America’ has been the second ranked morning program with the ‘Early Show’ on CBS a distant third.  But the addition of George Stephanopoulos has helped to increase the visibility of ‘Good Morning America’ making them a serious threat to NBC’s morning show.

With NBC’s merger with Comcast, very little is getting accomplished as staff throughout the full network are in limbo with new management in place.  Marketing for network programs is minimal for February sweeps according to insiders and on-air staffers may be looking for better opportunities as the integration of new management takes place at the new network.

No official word yet from Abrams or ABC.
