TNT Wants More ‘Memphis Beat”…C’mon ‘Dark Blue’
OK so ‘Memphis Beat’ is getting 10 more episodes. And well deserved. Jason Lee is the man, cop by day, Elvis impersonator by night, and what a great transition Jason made from ‘My Name is Earl’ which is one of favorite shows that I liked as well. And he’s there in Memphis with the always solid Alfre Woodard who is one of television’s most underrated females.

Michael Wright, the executive VP of programming at TNT says ‘Memphis Beat’ “is a real treasure” and the show was one of the top five series on cable TV this summer. So now we have The Closer, Rizzoli and Isles, HawthoRNe and Leverage all renewed on the network and we’re waiting on Mr. Wright to do the right thing and renew my favorite “Dark Blue.”
I’m gonna start a writing campaign for ‘Blue.” OK I’m not because TNT will wait for the end of this series which just happened last week before making a decision on renewing that show.
