New Cast Members Including Taran Killam Coming to ‘Saturday Night Live’
Taran Killam is one of the three new cast members headed to ‘Saturday Night Live’ which means this trio replaces Will Forte who announced recently that he was done with the show seeking new opportunities.
In sports that would be one heck of a trade. Killam for Forte and two players thrown in to the mix that only people in Chicago may know. Not a bad deal.
Zach Braff and Taran Killam on 'Scrubs'
Taran Killam from ‘MADtv’ and ‘Scrubs’ is headed to SNL. He was ‘Jimmy the Overly Touchy Orderly’ on that show where TV.com blogged as the best addition to ‘Scrubs’ during the 2009 season. He also had a short stint on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ so he’s got a nice foundation for being added to SNL.
The other two add ons, Paul Brittain and Vanessa Bayer, are both out of Chicago’s iO Theater where ‘Live’ has used as a breeding ground for the show bringing in the likes of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Jane Lynch.
