‘The Naked Cowboy’ on a TV Blog? Yep!

CBS again.  Another day, another lawsuit.  In my days at this network, what floor were they on?  The 44th floor at Black Rock, headquarters for CBS in Manhattan, was the floor, right?  Ahhh maybe not but in my multiple years of working there, I spent lots of time dealing with the lawyers on whatever floor they were situated.

naked-cowboy2Well those suits are going to busy again and this time it’s a suit from a naked man.  ‘The Naked Cowboy,’ seen prancing around New York’s Time Square no matter what the weather, is suing CBS and ‘The Bold and the Beauriful’ for trademark infringement.  Apparently the soap had a scene where a character dressed in undies, carrying a guitar and a cowboy hat and the network then promoted the segment on YouTube.

Oh those lawyers…normally producers ask about this kind of segment prior to airing.  Seems some segment producer is out of work.

Robert John Burck, the real name of ‘The Naked Cowboy,’ is looking to grab $1.5 million big ones from CBS which will go a long way toward his goal of winning the nomination for President from the Tea Party.
