‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ is the highest rated daytime talk show in the United Kingdom and a Los Angeles production company is bringing an American version of the show to U.S. TV. More than 1000 episodes of the program have already been produced over the last five years and the ratings for the show have been spectacular.
Kyle had been doing talk on radio before he was picked up by ITV, Britain’s biggest broadcast company, and given the daytime talker. The show is expected to hit American TV late 2010 with a full national rollout in 2011.
Kyle in a statement said, “I am particularly looking forward to meeting ordinary American people and hearing about their extraordinary lives.”
