Television’s Dumbest Commercials…Quiznos Subs
So I was just sitting here watching the ‘Burn Notice’ episode with Burt Reynolds and a commercial popped up for Quiznos Subs, the upscale version of Subway.
Now let me say this first so that I’m clear. Quiznos Sub sandwiches are absolutely awesome. Really. I like Subway and their $5 footlongs. But if you haven’t tried a Quiznos Sub you should.
Now back to these commercials. What the hell are those things selling their sandwiches. If one of those creepy whatever the hell they are came up to me with a Quiznos sandwich I pull out my pistola and pop, pop, pop. Seriously. We get that in the one commercial they are cats, right?
How can they put those dweeby, nasty looking, Gremlin style characters next to food.
Yuck.
Someone at their creative ad agency must have been having an LSD flashback or huffing paint from Home Depot when they started brainstorming and came up with these concepts. But you be the judge.
Quiznos Subs I love your grub. These commercials thought are the worst.
