Take a Snickers Bar, Get a Roseanne Barr and Watch the SuperBowl
Uh oh, is Betty White’s downfall beginning? Last year Betty was the face and the pitch lady for Mars, the candy maker of my favorite candy, the Snickers bar. This year we have breaking news. Roseanne Barr is this year’s spokesperson for the 30 second commercial for Snickers bars in the SuperBowl broadcast on FOX.
And if you take a look at Roseanne, the woman is looking better than ever.

OK back to the story. The commercial will run in the third quarter of this year’s super contest. And the ad agency for Mars went back and forth on making the change from Betty White to Roseanne Barr. But Mars wants to move past what one executive called a “magical moment” in last year’s broadcast. And didn’t think that rehiring Betty White would out do last year’s commercial with her.
Quite frankly I don’t even remember the ad. Two days after the SuperBowl, we all forget the ads and get back to the normal routine of watching other sports for men and reality programming for women.
