Suit Up, Fight Back, ‘The Cape’ Premieres on NBC (Videos)
OK NBC let’s hope this is your breakout hit.
Disappointments line up with some shows we like. ‘The Event’ was good for a minute, then lost interest. ‘Outlaw’ with Jimmy Smits was just absolutely awful. ‘Undercovers’ was a good idea but viewers in American are not ready for two African American leads. ‘The Chase’ is a cool show that just can’t find an audience. Probably the best out of the listed above but cop shows are well cops shows.

Now comes ‘The Cape,’ a superhero series starring ‘E.R’s David Lyons as former cop Vince Faraday who lost his badge after being accused of crimes he didn’t do. So he joins up with a carnival act, takes a new identity and becomes his son’s favorite comic book character with a gladiator uniform and a cape to fight crime. Hopefully winning back his badge and his family that took off after the trumped up charges.
How darn cool is this?
Guys are gonna love this show, right?
Now the criminal element have taken over Palm City where Vince resides and it’s his job to eliminate that element. James Frain from ‘The Tudors’ and ‘True Blood’ is in the cast as billionaire Peter Fleming. And Jennifer Ferrin from the really cool ‘Life on Mars’ is Vince’s wife ‘Dana’ in ‘The Cape.’ And Keith David plays ‘Max Malini’ who becomes Vince’s mentor in the series.
A two hour premiere tonight and then the show moves in to Monday night at 9PM beginning on January 17th.
