‘Spanish Oprah’ Does an Oprah, Calls It Quits
Even out Latino brothers and sisters can’t get a break in daytime TV. Spanish speaking television viewers are losing one of Univision’s biggest names. Hell I gotta admit that when flipping through the channel’s I’ve seen this lady, Cristina Saralegui, running her mouth on ‘El Show de Cristina.’

Now after 20 years, her show is going off the air.
No reason given for her departure from the network. And Univision says that Cristina won’t be leaving completely as there are special programs that Cristina will be hosting on the network.
Cristina is looking forward to the next phase of her career and calls her leaving after 20 years a “bittersweet” moment.
