FOX 'Good Day' Host Greg Kelly
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly is feeling that pain today and this one is at least a career-ender for Greg Kelly, host of FOX TV New York’s ‘Good Day’ morning show. The son of the police commissioner has been accused of rape after having drinks with a woman at New York’s South Street Seaport on October 8th. Now the woman reportedly got pregnant and had an abortion according to reports.
It’s always that liquor that will just ruin people’s lives and careers, ya think?
Greg Kelly was not on the air this morning after the woman reported the incident to police Tuesday. The allegded assault took place at the woman’s law firm in downtown Manhattan.
This story even turns more crazy for NYPD Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. He was approached at an event by the woman’s boyfriend who was so upset at the incident that he wanted to ensure the case would not be pushed under a rug by the NYPD because of Ray Kelly’s influence. His office immediately turned the case over to City Attorney Cy Vance for investigation.
Lew Leone, Vice President and General Manager of WNYW TV which airs ‘Good Day’ said only that “Greg Kelly has requested some time off.”
