Short Stops…Christina Applegate, ’24′ President Charles Logan and ‘Southland’s Shawn Hatosy
Some quick hits for you as ‘Married with Children’ and ‘Samantha Who?’ actress Christina Applegate annouces that she and fiance’ Martyn Lenoble are pregnant.
Yeah, that’s how they do it these days, everyone says ”we’re pregnant” knowing full well that the woman is the one that is really knocked up and pregnant while dude is still able to see his feet while in a standing position in 6 months.
Applegate went through a double mastectomy two years ago and credits Lenoble with giving her the strength to get through this period. The couple has not set a date to get hitched.

Gregory Itzin, who had a couple of runs as President Charles Logan on FOX’s ’24′ and a short stint as the boss on ‘The Mentalist’ on CBS, joins the cast of ’Big Love’ on HBO. He will play the Republican majority leader in the Utah State Senate that Bill Paxton’s character is now a member.
Itzin needs a break and a full time role. He’s really good to watch.
And ‘Southland’ moves one of their detectives from TNT over to Showtime as Shawn Hatosy becomes an FBI agent on ’Dexter’ when that show returns in the fall. ‘Southland’ fans need not worry as Hatosy will return to that program after his stint with the lovable serial killer.
