Sarah Ferguson, Julia Roberts, Forest Whitaker, Gabriel Byrne, Goldie Hawn and Mariel Hemingway…
What do they have in common? What makes them a headline? One person. The Queen. And the Queen is Oprah. Yes another Oprah story or as some really unedumacated people would say ‘Okra.’
Sarah Ferguson, the broke Duchess of York, has apparently been offered a gig with Oprah’s Own Network as Ms. Winfrey continues to create one of the most incredible list of programs in cable history. So Oprah thinks Sarah’s broke and conniving butt should have a show because she’s a mom, dumped her husband, made a bunch of well publicized mistakes and has a problem, similar to Oprah’s, of trying to stay away from the dessert tray at Hometown Buffet.

Kurt Russell, Quincy Jones and Goldie Hawn
That was cold. But that’s what we read in the article in the British newspaper the Daily Mail.
OK so that makes good TV according to Oprah. A penniless person of royalty who was trying to sell out her husband.
The five other names of quality listed in the headline are part of five 2 hour documentaries highlighting interesting parts of their lives. Julia Roberts reviews and details the power of moms. Forest Whitaker from ‘Criminal Minds: Disturbing Behavior’ takes his show in to a maximum security prison in Angola where the minimum sentence is 90 years. Gabriel Byrne from ‘In Treatment’ looks at the homelessness in Nashville, Goldie Hawn’s segment looks at the seekers of happiness and Mariel Hemingway looks at depression and suicide in a general fashion as part of her family’s issues with both areas.
