Ryan Seacrest in CBS Daytime Talk Show, May ‘KISS’ Off Radio

Clear Channel Radio must be changing underwear at the thought of losing Ryan Seacrest to CBS TV. Word around the radio circle says that Ryan Seacrest, who hosts the morning show on KISS-FM in Los Angeles, will be giving up that radio program to host a daytime talk show on CBS.
This has to be, quite frankly, after thinking about the possibility of this actually happening, the smartest move in the history of CBS Television.
Except for anyone associated with Clear Channel Radio, daytime TV could get a major boost from Ryan.
With ‘American Idol’ in steep annual audience decline on FOX, the thought of having Seacrest host a daytime talk program is perfect for daytime TV. First with Oprah leaving, the thought of just ‘Rachael Ray’ or the babbling babes on ‘The View,’ well is quite depressing. And that leaves us with Jerry Springer and Maury Povich as alternatives so having someone with 10 years of ‘American Idol’ will really bring youthful demos to a Seacrest hosted daytime show.
The buzz would be amazing.
Seacrest was seen with CBS President Les Moonves at a Lakers game recently prompting the possibility which would be brilliant.
