Rumors Flying of ABC’s ‘All My Children’ Cancellation
This would stab the whole soap opera genre in the neck with not a plastic spoon but with a really big knife. Rumors are swirling around the internet world and all over Hollywood on the possible cancellation of daytime staple All My Children.
You gotta be kidding? All My Children? And they just moved the production location from New York to Los Angeles, right?
No way. No way the cancel this show, huh?

The show has been on the air at ABC for 41 years. Yes 41 years and with the soap opera category on daytime television going through significant turmoil over the last several years, this could be a reality for fans of All My Children.
Trending real high on the internet tonight is the possible cancellation of the series. ABC may be looking at adding another daytime talk show to it’s midday lineup and something would have to go, meaning AMC could be headed to the cancellation bin. With General Hospital as a winner and One Life to Live working within profitable budget numbers, All My Children could be odd soap out at ABC.
