Rosie O’Donnell Getting Back into Daytime TV, Leveraging Off ‘Oprah’ Loss

Daytime TV is going through a lot of turmoil these days with Oprah Winfrey putting her show to rest.  Plus with Tyra Banks and Bonnie Hunt going away along with a couple of soap operas ending their runs, the future of daytime programs is in peril.

Bring on Rosie O’Donnell.  Or bring back Rosie O’Donnell.  The plan is for there to be the standard Monday through Friday ‘stripped’ program along with the addition of a cable television network to carry the show.

Currently Rosie is hosting a radio program on XM Sirius Satellite radio.  Here’s more from The New York Times.
