‘Rome’ and ‘The Philanthropist’s James Purefoy Heads to ‘Camelot’
His web-site is titled ‘Home of the incomparable James Purefoy’ and as a fan of the actor it will be good to see him take his incomparable skills to the Starz series ‘Camelot.’ James Purefoy who was just fantastic in the HBO series ‘Rome’ and the well received yet short term NBC show ‘The Philanthropist’ will join the cast this season.

James Purefoy and Michael K. Williams in 'The Philanthropist'
This guy deserves a lot of props. Not a full time watcher of ‘Rome’ yet a huge fan of last summer’s ‘The Philanthropist,’ this guy did a great job in the role of Teddy Rist has he traveled the world using his self made bucket of cash to help those in need. And fans of the HBO series ‘Rome’ saw his skills as Marc Antony in that solid series. James Hibberd from ‘The Live Feed’ calls his work in ‘Rome’ “so fantastic” which means if I like him and James likes him, well he’s gotta be good!
Purefoy will play ‘King Lot’ in the ‘Camelot.’ And he’s got a few movies in pre and post production but the one that caught my eye was ‘Solomon Kane’ which was in European theaters but not here in the states. Thought you might like to see the trailer, which with a more well known U.S. performer, could have been a winner here.
