‘Remington Steele’ ReDo, Pierce Brosnan Coming Back to Television
‘Remington Steele’ ReDo, Pierce Brosnan Coming Back to Television…Most remember him as one of the James Bond guys but TV fans who have some history behind them know him as ‘Remington Steele,’ the series that ran on NBC from 1982 to 1987. So Stephanie Zimbalist was his co-star and played Laura Holt who created the fictional character ‘Remington Steele’ which she named after her Remington typewriter and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huh?
Yes that’s true. And the first foray we had with the very cool Pierce Brosnan.
Well he’s coming back to television. According to James Hibberd over at The Hollywood Reporter, Pierce is working on a new deal that would give him starring and producing titles in an new series. He’d be an international operative and a guy that solves people’s problems.
Sounds like ‘The Equalizer’ doesn’t it?
Anyway the plan is to try to sell the show to international markets before looking for a U.S. network to pick up the show.
