Pro Baller John Wall, Please Stick to the Dougie and Basketball, No More Baseball (Videos)

OK so this is embarrassing.  One thing I always believed when it came to professional athletes.  They could always play other sports, at least one, at some level that would not get this much juice on every social network in America.  And beyond.

Washington Bullets Point Guard John Wall

Washington Bullets Point Guard John Wall

John Wall, the rookie superstar point guard for the NBA’s Washington Bullets, is just that a future superstar in the league.  Drafted as a first round pick of the Bullets, Wall averaged over 16 points per game, 8 plus assists per game and is a future NBA All Star with a long career ahead of him.

Maybe he should stick to basketball after this video.  Especially when you’re on the television broadcast of a baseball game.

I remember when I owned a comedy club in Philly and Blair Thomas, a running back who Joe Paterno called the best at that position that he ever coached, reserved a seat with his wife for a night of laughter.  The room for the comedy performances doubled as a sports bar with one of those basketball games where you shoot hoops in a net.  After the show he made 80 in a row, 80.  Now that’s a guy, who played in the NFL with the Jets, the Bears and the Patriots, that could do well in both sports.

John Wall, for all of his talent, is no Blair Thomas.  Not even close.  I had to watch this 278 times and still say John must stick to the hardwood and leave the baseball diamond, well to even little league guys and gals.

But he can do the Dougie.  Yes he can do the Dougie.
