Oscar Winning Sissy Spacek Joining CBS TV Medical Drama
We’re starting to see more and more of this and what a cool, smart trend for those in the TV business. Major motion picture talent coming to TV. Sissy Spacek will be leading a John Wells produced medical drama on CBS according to The Hollywood Reporter. The unnamed drama will focus on a mobile team of doctors that travel the United States and the world helping those that need medical service.
Reminders of ‘The Philanthropist’ which ran on NBC last summer which was a solid show about a well to do money guy that traveled the U.S. and the world helping others.
The six time Oscar winning actress is coming off six episodes of ‘Big Love ‘ on HBO.
