Old School ‘Captain Kirk’ Takes on ‘D.C. Sniper’
After Burt Reynolds’ ‘Burn Notice’ episode some were calling him TV’s next Betty White. Why when William Shatner continues his Betty White moments with a new network show, his new cable network show, his ongoing commercials for travel giant Priceline.com and now his A&E interview with one of the D.C. snipers that kept that area on high alert until their capture by the FBI.
Lee Boyd Malvo, the young kid who was lead shooter John Allen Muhammad’s sidekick during this saga told Shatner that more attempted shootings took place and that Muhammad tried to recruit others to carry out his master psychotic plan.
‘Confessions of the D.C. Sniper with William Shatner: An Aftermath Special’ airs on A&E next Thursday when ‘Kirk’ gets a one on one with Lee Boyd Malvo who tells him that there were other conspirators in the mix during the three week period back in 2002.
Shatner’s ‘Aftermath with William Shatner’ airs on the Bio cable network and looks at the aftermath of incidents where average Joe and Jane are turned in to household names. This is a special presentation on A&E as it has considerably more viewers than Bio.
