NBC’s Remake of ‘Rockford Files’ Dead on Arrival

We talked about this one as they kept adding new cast to the show that was destined to help NBC return to glory past. This was one with extremely high expectations and now the remake of the 70′s iconic series ‘The Rockford Files’ won’t even get out of the gate.
NBC says the show is so bad that production is over and everybody should go home. At least for now. Apparently the first pilot of the new series clearly left NBC biggies unimpressed. Then the pilot was re-edited by one of Jerry Bruckheimer’s top cutters and the show still sucked.
Bottom line Jim Garner’s original ’Jim Rockford’ still lives on. For now.
