Mini Series ‘The Kennedys’ Homeless (Video)
Never underestimate the power of the name Kennedy. That’s if it’s your last name only, you’re connected to the family that hails from Massachusetts and it’s the family from that state that’s been in politics pretty much forever.
But ‘The Kennedys,’ the 8 part miniseries originally ready to premiere on The History Channel, will not be premiering any where at this point.
DirecTV is the latest entity backing away from the controversial program after several cable networks succumbed to pressure from the Kennedy family. After viewing the series, concern over sexual content and then pressure to not air ‘The Kennedys’ was fast and furious.
Now the show is being shopped to other potential partners that may want to air the show. But so far after History declined to air the show, Showtime, Starz, FX along with DirecTV are all staying away from the show starring Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes.
