Michael J. Fox Getting in ‘The Good Wife’

And it’s not his good wife Tracy Pollen but “The Good Wife’ on CBS where the Emmy award winning actor will make a guest return to television in the second season of the very popular show.

‘The Good Wife’ is really good TV.  So we recommend watching because from top to bottom this show is what television is all about and that in a simple word is quality.

Michael J. Fox will play Simon Canning (cool TV name, huh?) who will represent a pharmaceutical company and according to CBS the character is a “shrewd and cynical litigator” which is kinda like his role on ‘Family Ties.’

Fox retired from acting full time in 2000 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease which his foundation has raised over $200 million for research on the disorder.

‘The Good Wife’ stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick, the so called ‘good wife’ and her philandering husband played by Chris Noth.  She’s a litigator for a major law firm and he was a state attorney for Illinois based in Chicago who get’s busted following a sex and corruption scandal.

Christine Baranski is fantastic in her role as law firm partner Diane Lockhart but the most underrated cast member is the very quirky, sometimes twisted Archie Panjabi who is Kalinda Sharma in ‘The Good Wife.’

Solid show, solid writing, great cast and now Michael J. Fox.  Only good things for the future of this drama.
