Michael Grimm Beats Our Favorite Jackie Evancho, ‘America’s Got Talent’

Well the winner is finally selected. And although there are a lot of very disappointed Jackie Evancho fans, Mississippi guy Michael Grimm took home the $1,000,000 bucks in the finale of ‘America’s Got Talent.’

Topping Jackie along with beating out Fighting Gravity and Prince Poppycock, host Nick Cannon congratulated the four finalists saying it was an “unbelievable achievement to get this far” in the competition. Grimm did his part in the show singing ‘Me and Bobby McGee’ with Jewel. Lionel Richie sang ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’ as Fighting Gravity did his thing. Jackie and Sarah Brightman got together on a duet and Prince Poppycock got the program started with Donna Summer doing her monster hit ‘Last Dance.’

But even Michael thought Jackie was going to win. “Is this real?” he asked host Nick Cannon after being announced as the winner. Jackie told NBC’s Kristen Welker that she’s ready to go home to Pittsburgh and be a kid again.
Hey Jackie! Remember Susan Boyle came in second on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and sold 10,000,000 CD’s so the future for her is so bright.
But the night belonged to Michael Grimm who also gets a show in Vegas along with his million bucks.
