Here we go again. First there’s Barack on ‘The View’ giving that show the highest ratings ever. The current guy in the Oval Office can still attract a crowd. We ran that story.
Then former President Clinton drops 15 pounds and marries off his only daughter Chelsea. We ran that story.
OK so we’re not under the lead foot of the Federal Communications Commission, yet we will offer equal time to the opposition.
Then we have Sarah Palin, whose picture is listed under the banner of ‘the mediocrity of America’ as she goes on FOX News Sunday with policy statements written on her palm. God I love Sarah Palin cause she gives everyone so much to write about. Well anyway we ran that story.
Finally to where we are now as Matt Lauer sits down for an exclusive interview with former President George W. Bush in a special called ‘Matt Lauer Reports’ which will run in prime time.
When?
On Monday November 8th, 6 days after the mid-term elections. Ya think he might have something to talk about then? And that following Wednesday the former big guy steps in to the ‘Today Show’ hot seat with Matt for more live chatter about his new book ‘Decision Points’ released the day before.
Yes for those readers November means November ratings sweeps and you can bet ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘The Early Show’ on CBS will lose more viewers that week faster than Charlie Rangel is losing his political career.
