‘Mama Grizzly’ Arrives in ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’…She’s getting paid about a million bucks per episode. And in the words of Bryant Gumbel…
Why?
‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ is on TLC and now we will find out just how much juice the leader of the ‘Mama Grizzly’ movement has on motivating her fan base to watch her show. TLC will be running eight episodes and everyone is trying to figure out whether this is a reality show or a documentary.
Don’t ask fellow Republican Newt Gingrich. He thinks any person that is considering running for President should not involve themselves in a reality show. But who cares what Newt thinks. The only people who should care are those that head to the voter’s booth on election day. And with America now ranking about 15th in college graduates where the country used to be first, ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ is a good start to reaching out to ‘Mama Grizzlies’ and hockey moms.
The whole family is involved in this show, as well they should be for what TLC is paying per episode. And the Palin family even gets a visit from Kate Gosselin and her family of eight kids as she pulls them out of fight school to be part of this program.
What do we mean by fight school? Well read the Gosselin story on the first page of this blog.
Although we think the ratings will tank just like the Gosselin programs they have on TLC it is perfect programming for Sarah Palin and the network. If you like her you’ll turn it on just to see the personal side of the former Vice Presidential candidate. If you don’t like her, and according to the polling most people don’t, well you won’t even care but we had to write the story cause what else is there to watch on Sunday nights? Luther, Dexter, CSI: Miami, Sunday Night Football, Undercover Boss, Desperate Housewives, what?
