‘Living Single’s ‘Queen Latifah’ Comes Out
In the category of who the hell cares these days, the very cool all around performer who started her career in Chicago as a rapper, then to TV and movies has officially yet unofficially come out.
Does there really have to be a freaking label for this anymore?
The lead in TV’s ‘Living Single’ comedy has shown her stuff with her new friend and personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins in a photo thing that was taken on a yacht. Both were celebrating the marriage of knocked up Alicia Keys and her baby daddy rapper/producer Swizz Beatz who were on the private cruise ship as well.
Nothing of a surprise here as everyone knew the ‘Queen’ went in the other direction. Talk around centers on what will happen with her endorsement deals should brands get a little shaky about her relationship with them which include Cover Girl and Curvation, a brand of ladies underwear. But Queen Latifah’s preference was well rumored prior to her endorsement deals so once again we’re back at that who cares scenario.
I may not be a believer in Prop 8 which just got overturned here in California. That gives gays and lesbians the right to marry in the state. I may not believe that gays and lesbians should have the same rights at heterosexual couples in certain areas which of course is well above my pay scale and not the purpose of this blog.
But anyone who really gets screwed up anymore on these stories need to double up on their medication.
