‘Lil Wayne’ Free at Last!! David Cassidy, Gary Collins, “Book ‘em Danno”…So we just had to mention Lil Wayne. The brotha is headed back to Miami for a big release party and it’s not for one of his new songs that just dropped. The rapper had a gun charge that got him 8 months in prison.
Now the reason we bring up Lil Wayne is because he’s new school while a couple of other blasts from the past are now looking at a few guys wearing uniforms, badges and guns.
I never like it when surrounded by big guys wearing uniforms, badges and guns. Most of the time there are cuffs involved, one pair by the way, not the two pair I request along with leather goods.
But anyway David Cassidy from ‘The Partridge Family’ and Gary Collins who used to host talk shows and whatever are now facing those uniforms, badges and guns.
Lucky them. “Here are their stories.”

David Cassidy got hit with a DUI. On the Florida Turnpike. He was taken in to custody after failing a field sobriety test and apparently his breath was liquored up enough to get my first pair of cuffs.
Damn now I’m down to one pair.
He says he wasn’t drunk and that he had popped some pills but Cassidy has admitted to issues with Glen Livet in the past so maybe just getting him off the streets as a precaution is a good move for authorities.
Then there’s Gary Collins. Cuff number two. The talk show host, actor in the 1972 version of ‘The Sixth Sense’ on TV and you remember if you’re over 45 years the television series ‘Born Free.’ And if you remember even more that he was married to Miss America Mary Ann Mobley.
Yeah well this one was involved in a fender bender where the 72 year old dude rear ended another driver, got out and exchanged information and then left the scene of the accident before cops showed up.
OK, earth to Gary, earth to Gary, you can’t do that partner.
An arrest warrant has been issued.
