Lifetime and Garth Brooks Based Original Movie, ‘Unanswered Prayers’

OK so I’m not a country music fan but golly gee I can take the genre when the performers do a couple of three songs on one of those morning shows.  It’s always interesting to see how that music has become relatively mainstream after my years of playing country music on 1540 WRCP radio in Philly.

Way back when.

Yeah I was one of two black dudes playing country music at that time and it was a job.

Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks

So Garth Brooks has a song called ‘Unanswered Prayers’ and that piece will be the focus of a new original Lifetime movie.  This song was so hot that it debuted at number 1 on Billboard and Radio & Records country charts.  The new film will look at marriage, family and second chances at love.  The very underused Eric Close (Without a Trace) is a full time family man with a wife and the picket fence and all.  Then one of his old high school flames returns and he is in the middle of a tough decision.  His past or his current life.

Garth Brooks is one of the producers of the movie and it’s expected to hit the network in November.  Definitely a chick flick alert here guys so make sure your DVR works if there’s a football game on .  Yeah tape ‘Unanswered Prayers.’
