Laura Ling from Detainee to Host of ‘E! Investigates’…Well thanks Current TV, Bill Clinton and Al Gore. Now that’s she’s free Laura Ling is moving on with her life after taking a trip to North Korea with her friend Euna Lee and being held for four months.
I won’t go in to why but this it’s pretty stupid to travel to foreign countries that have whackos in charge.
Now Laura Ling will be staying much closer to home with her new gig at E!

Yes the show is called ‘E! Investigates’ where they topics won’t be anything related to the Kardashians which makes an interesting change for the entertainment network. ‘E! Investigates’ will take a hard, edge look at more serious topics with the first two hour long programs looking at teenage suicide and military wives.
Is this really E!?
Yes, as the New York Times spoke with Ted Harbert from Comcast, the parent company of E! and says the network is looking to focus some programming on the “serious side of pop culture.”
Wait a minute Ted. As one of my girls in Philly would say “is you serious?”
The program will begin on E! on December 8th and yes Ted is serious. Quality programming on E! is a big change from their normal shows and this will be a welcomed addition because I don’t think I’ve turned on E! in a few years except to watch, well the Kardashians.
Seems Miss Ling plans to only cover stories in the United States rather than ticking off foreign countries as Mr. Harbert might not know President Clinton and able to send Bubba out to get back one of his journalists.
