NUP_136467_0002Keith Olbermann, who has had his on and off battles with the powers that be over at MSNBC, has been dropped by the network and his ‘Countdown’ show is gone forever.  “MSNBC and Keith Olbermann have ended their contract,” the statement read from the cable network.

Gotta admit.  Watching Keith Olbermann is simply annoying.  But is there any reason to watch anything else on MSNBC?  He actually helped put the network on the map. But he just became more annoying through the years and watching him was like spending the day with access to only one news channel like FOX News.

Bottom line, he won’t be missed.  And with the Comcast merger, this is only the beginning.
