Jon Stewart ‘Daily Show’ Producer Arrested, Punches Heckler…Well that WeAreChange.org is behind this one. Jon Stewart was at a Barnes and Noble in New York promoting his new book ‘Earth’ when one of the members of the group decided he was going to go one on one against the Comedy Central host.

Rule 1 is never heckle a guy that makes fun of people on a ‘Daily’ basis. I saw a dude from South Philly heckle Bob Saget in his early days as a stand-up on stage at the Comedy Works in that town many years ago. Saget ripped him apart. Dude was so embarrassed that he just shut up for the rest of Saget’s show.
Stewart went on to rip this guy apart and then the dance went outside when Daily Show producer Rory Albanese got in to a testy conversation with Matt Meyer of WeAreChange.org and the shoving and arguing grew to the punch.
And why is it relatively stupid to do anything in public these days that might come back to haunt you? Portable video cameras that’s why. And one was running.
