John Stamos Is Coming to Television, But Not ‘Two and a Half Men’

Yeah we haven’t written about the Charlie Sheen-John Stamos flap when rumors began flying that Stamos would be replacing Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men.’  Well Sheen dogged Stamos and then apologized.  Then Stamos told TMZ.com that “there’s no replacing Charlie Sheen” which of course is very politically correct.

For some reason I think Stamos would be a great replacement for Sheen on ‘Men.’

John StamosBut NBC’s ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ sees Stamos as a good way to jump on his new-found fame.  He will be guest starring on an episode titled ‘Bang,’ where Stamos will play an adoption attorney “with a secret passion” according to an NBC release.

Whatever that passion is, well you’ll have to watch the episode that is not yet scheduled.  You can bet it will be sometime during May ratings sweeps.  This marks John’s return to NBC after four years with ‘E.R.’
