He definitely has the right DNA for writing this comic book that is coming to FOX as a series on the network.  Joe Hill is the son of the legendary writer Stephen King and was part of the team that put together the comic book series ‘Locke and Key.’

Two guys behind the production of the ’Star Trek’ movies will bring the comic book version to life.  Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci will executive produce the FOX series.

Joe Hill is the writer and Gabriel Rodriguez is the artist for ‘Locke and Key’ which details the life of the Locke children who try to recover after their father is murdered by messed up high school student.  The youngest Locke discovers hidden keys with transformative powers during the movement of the series

The comic book was created by Hill and Rodriguez in 2008 and is currently in its fourth installment.
