Jerry Mathers, Tony Dow Remember TV Mom on ‘Leave It To Beaver…”She was the ideal mom,” Barbara Billingsley told TV Guide in 1997.  And an ideal mom she was for that time and that terrific show and the perfect family program during it time on television.

‘Leave It To Beaver’ ran on CBS and ABC for six years from 1957 to 1963.  And Barbara Billingsley ‘June Cleaver’ was the typical stay at home mother for that time.  She passed away at 94 years of age in Santa Monica and her on-screen children, Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow remembered her well.
