Jerry Bruckheimer’s ‘Chase’ Slowly Coming to an ‘The End’

Getting the number of episodes cut back from the network is not a good sign.  Others say it’s not a bid deal but if the ratings for NBC’s ‘Chase’ are any indication, the chances of a second season of the Monday night drama is none to negative slim.

And now with ‘Chase’ moving from the 10PM Monday slot to Wednesday’s at 9PM, for it to succeed against the perennial ratings leader ‘American Idol’ are once again none to negative slim.

And I kinda like ‘Chase.’

NBC has told Jerry Bruckheimer and company that they only want 18 episodes rather than the original 22.  Not a big deal but again with so-so ratings ‘Annie Frost’ and her team of federal agents could be leaving Houston for the canceled bin.

Time, along with whatever happens to the new season of ‘American Idol’ will forecast the future of ‘Chase.’  And with their owned property, ‘The Today’ Show’ always talking and promoting ‘AI’ let’s say it was a good run for a decent show.
