ABC Gets James Cameron’s Old School ‘True Lies’
With James Cameron you just want to use the line “the hits just keep on coming” when it comes to the content he creates. With the recent success of ‘Avatar’ and previous monster movies like ‘Titanic,” he just can’t seem to get out of the way of his greatness.
Now he’s about to do a remake of his 1994 movie ‘True Lies’ which starred current California Governor Arnold Schwartznegger and Jamie Lee Curtis. And the remake will be a television series this time. Cameron wrote and directed the movie which detailed the life of a computer sales geek who was also moonlighting as a government spy. His wife, looking for adventure herself, finds out about his double life and gets intimately involved in the spy end of his life.
This one one of Cameron’s best.

Sam Worthington, James Cameron, Zoe Saldana, Jon Landau and Sigourney Weaver
ABC is picking up the project. Who wouldn’t want a James Cameron program with a great foundation on their prime time lineup? Took him less than a week find a network. This will be his first step back in to television after the two year run of Jessica Alba’s ‘Dark Angel’ on FOX.
