“It’s Joe Time” as Judge Joe Brown Wins Case Against Him
He thought Judge Joe Brown was a real judge. Well he was one in Tennessee but he’s retired. So this guy Mark Schweninger calls the show for Judge Joe to rule on and gets upset, saying hizzoner embarrassed him during a taping of his case.
He decides to sue.
Doesn’t this fool watch this show. Or any judge show. If you’re stupid enough to have your case heard on television you should be fully aware that you’re going to look like a damn fool.
So dude sues for fraud and slander. Judge Joe, during the case where Schweninger sued a woman for $7,500, told him that he was “trying to get some nookie” from the her. Of course the audience laughed, which is pretty standard for daytime court shows.
In real court, for the record, nobody laughs. Apparently Schweninger thought he was in a real courtroom. Case dismissed, Judge Joe is back to work making fools of other morons dumb enough to get their claim to fame on courtroom television.
