“I’m very optimistic” says Michael Douglas After Cancer Diagnosis
He’s the voice of ‘NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.’ For the record he does the opening voice-over leading the Brian’s half hour news program. And who doesn’t remember Michael Douglas as ‘Det. Steve Keller’ in the ABC show ‘The Streets of San Francisco’ back in the day from ’72 through ’76. Who hasn’t watched a Michael Douglas film in the theaters or on television at some point during our lives.

Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas
This one is hard to take. Michael Douglas, who made ‘Gordon Gekko’ a household name over the years with ‘Wall Street; and now with ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ has been diagnosed with throat cancer and is set to undergo chemotherapy treatment. It will be a combination of radiation and chemo for the next eight weeks to hopefully remove the cancer from his throat.
Doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
