Idris Elba Hooks Up with Laura Linney, Showtime’s ‘The Big C’
Idris Elba...
Her character’s married. But not to his character.
And so begins ‘The Big C’ coming this summer from Showtime. Idris Elba who played the very well educated yet pretty scary drug lord on the HBO series ‘The Wire’ will join the cast of ‘C’ as the love interest to Laura Linney’s married with children character in the series.
Linney plays a woman from the suburbs who life changes dramatically after she is diagnosed with cancer. And she then goes and hangs out with Elba’s character.
And this is a comedy?
OK anyway life changes will make women from the suburbs play around with brothas from the city. But we still don’t see what the humor is so we will have to wait until August 16th.
