This show is just blowing up. Fox couldn’t be any happier with how ‘Glee’ is performing not only with the 8 million weekly viewers but with the huge success of every merchandising program surrounding the show. Anyway more names joining the show as Idina Menzel comes to the cast appearing in the last nine episodes of ‘Glee’ before it takes a break.
Menzel is a big fan of ‘Glee’ and its star Lea Michele who is currently on the show and also has Broadway credits. Menzel won a Tony Award for her work in ‘Wicked’ and is the second Broadway star to be cast in the television show.
In the meantime ‘Glee, The Music Volume 2′ is in the top five best selling albums for the week. And ‘Volume 1′ is certified ‘gold’ which means over a half million sales and shipment of the album has been generated.
When they talk about the future of television and they say ‘Jay Leno’, well they gotta be kidding. ‘Glee’ is the future of television when Fox has the ability to combine on-air, music, t-shirts, hats and other merchandising opportunities to make money.
