‘How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris, Partner David Burtka Becoming Dads
Twitter to the rescue here. Neil Patrick Harris, or ‘Doogie Howser’ for you old school TV folk yet for new school CBS TV’s ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ and his partner are expecting twins. He and long time partner David Burkta have announced they have used the services of a surrogate to carry those babies, this all from Eonline.

Harris wrote on Twitter that “we’re super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy” which is absolutely not going to happen.
Star Magazine reported about a year ago that Harris and Burtka had been exploring the use of a surrogate. The couple has been together for six years.
