Here We Go, CBS Brings Daytime TV ‘The Talk’…Don’t tell people over at ‘The View’ that these shows are similar in any way. You might get smacked by Whoopi Goldberg or Joy Behar. Like they both wanted to smack Bill O’Reilly.
Those “people” over at ‘The View’ must be kidding. The new CBS daytime show ‘The Talk’ is exactly what the network wants to reach out to, women in the key 25 to 54 year old female demo. Seems like ‘The View’s audience.
Hey this show’s got a shot.
It premieres on CBS stations this week. And if it’s a calmer version of ABC TV’s ‘The View’ then the daytime audience could find more friendly content on ‘The Talk.’
Who is not tired of the same, old crap over at ‘The View?’ The yelling and screaming will be replaced by targeting mothers with this new show. Julie Chen leads a group of solid females including Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini, Marissa Jaret Winokur.
Guests next week include Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Lopez, Chandra Wilson and Jamie Lee Curtis.
