‘Hells Angel’ Claims He Created ‘Sons of Anarchy’

And he wants to be paid; about $5 million dollars for what he claims was his idea. Interestingly enough the concept of the show could have been created by just about any biker but who is to argue with this dude?
Chuck Zito who says he used to rule the New York chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang filed a breach of contract lawsuit saying that he worked with a guy who ran ‘The Shield’ on FX and came up with the idea originally titled ‘Nomads’ and pitched it through an agent at ICM, the big talent agency in Los Angeles. The talent agent repped both Zito and Ted Chervin, the guy from ‘The Shield’ and says they both ripped off his show.
Actually when you read all that this guy Zito may have a point.
In the lawsuit “Defendants breached an implied-in-fact contract with defendant” was the wording used. More to come.
