Heather Locklear, Connie Britton Get New TV Gigs
Heather Locklear can’t not get work. She still is one of the most engaging women on television though has had limited success in recent TV roles. And Connie Britton, last of the well reviewed and really good show Friday Night Lights, deserves this new gig on FX.
Let’s start with the venerable Heather. She’s headed to a new comedy series on CBS titled The Assistants. She is half of a celebrity couple that has four assistants working for them. This marks the return to network television for Heather since the quickly canceled LAX on NBC.
Then there’s Connie Britton who gets to work with Glee‘s Ryan Murphy on a drama pilot titled American Horror Story, a drama that will air on cable channel FX.

Another couple to be the focus of this production and Connie will play one half. Not a lot of details on this one as Ryan is still working hard on Glee and a production date is not set but expected to begin sometime in April.
