HBO, ‘Hard Knocks’ and the ‘New York Jets’
Don’t the New York Jets have enough hard knocks? Former Jet quarterback Brett Favre sent naked pictures of himself to a Maxim model. Oh, oh let’s re-phrase that to a sideline reporter, OK actress, er, uh, former cheerleader or whatever. One wide receiver on the team got busted for not turning off his Ipod during take off. And another receiver had a major beef with teammates before being traded to the Jets.
‘Hard Knocks’ and you’ve got the New York Jets.
And I’ve been a fan of the team, let’s say, for a long time!
‘Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the New York Jets’ is back on HBO Wednesday night. This is the 5th go round for the show that looks at training camps in the NFL and the players wanting to make the final cut before the season begins in September.
You’ll be in the meetings, the daily drills, the players including the rookies and vets along with the team’s new high profile coach Rex Ryan.
This should be a lot of fun for football fans. Woody Johnson the owner of the team says they are “committed to being…open and accessible” during this summer’s training camp.
Yes. Pro football is back.
