‘Harriet’s Law’ or ‘Harry’s Law’ is Classic David E. Kelley

He knows law shows.  ‘The Practice’ and ‘Boston Legal’ are classic David E. Kelley shows.  ‘Picket Fences’ and ‘LA Law’ were his as well.  And ‘Ally McBeal’ too.

Now comes Kathy Bates in ‘Harry’s Law’ on NBC.  Originally the lead was meant for a guy but Kathy Bates loved the script  script so much that she took that role and David E. Kelley wanted to change the title to ‘Harriet’s Law’ which is the name on the window of the law firm office on a Cincinnati storefront.

That storefront is a mix between a shoe store and that law firm.

‘Harry’s Law’ has some promise.  It’s pretty standard for a Kelley produced show.  But Kathy Bates makes the show as expected.  Long term is it a winner?

Himmmmm….

Hmmmmmmm….
